Hike Description

Hiking in Gran Canaria to the last laurel forest, the north side of Gran Canaria and the agriculture of Moya. Breathtaking nature and views on one of the most beautiful and greenest hikes in Gran Canaria.

The last laurel forests of the north are like a jungle from prehistoric times and are located in the Doramas Natural Park.
Our hike begins with a descent through a densely overgrown gorge, further through fairy tale landscapes, with fantastic views from the Virgin Valley, over the Camel Pass to the Zumacal Gorge, where we then take our lunch break.

While we hike, admire and enjoy the views of the unique world of endemic plants around us, we’ll start our ascent while hiking through the laurel forest. Through a deep, lush gorge with huge eucalyptus trees, we walk along lemon and orange groves back to the finishing point. In winter, there is also the possibility of picking blackberries.

One of the most beautiful walks on the Canary Islands. Unforgettable and unique, for the first time in our hiking program.
