Description
Make your way on a hike to the Almond Flowers of the Valley of Guayadeque, full with magical colors and specific Fauna and Flora of this isolated Cave Valley in Gran Canaria. This is one of the most beautiful and easy hiking tours in Gran Canaria.
Our guided hike begins at around 400 Hm near the Cave Restaurants of this magical Valley, right after the Cave Museum.
We start to walk among a small stream where we can already feel the mystical forces at work in this Valley, giving us an Idea of how the Indigenous People used to live here in past times, doing their agriculture and living in their caves.
On our hike we will find a lot of endemical Species such as the Acebuche, the canary olive tree; the Opuntia Maxima, our Pricklee pear cactus, and of course our almond trees.
Along our hike we will get to see a lot of almond flowers as long as they are in their Blossom, but also the rich history of the canarian people and how they still live in very beautiful caves in this valley.
You can feel the absolute uniqueness of one of the most beautiful hikes of the Canary Islands.
After our picnic, we continue our ascent to the last big mountain of the valley with about 100Hm and there we will be ready to continue our drive to a little get together in Agüimes.
